On May 1, 2018 Smriti Bagry ’16 broke the world record for the most decimal places of Euler’s number memorized. Bagry was able to recall Euler’s number to 2500 decimal places in a total of 13 minutes, 56 seconds, and 57 milliseconds.
It is natural when you see growth and change at an institution you love to wonder if those developments represent a threat to what you cherish or rather a strengthening and adaptation necessary to carry that institution into the future.
Thank you to the hundreds of alumni volunteers who assist our admissions efforts each year, whether by hosting or attending an event, reaching out to an admitted applicant, or in any number of other ways.
Many alumni have asked questions and raised concerns about the experience of international students at Yale SOM, particularly as it relates to their careers. International students comprise almost half of the Yale SOM student community.
