Jonathan E. Ingersoll, Jr. was named by Risk magazine (Dec. 2002) to its Hall of Fame, recognizing 50 dealers, brokers, end-users, quants and systems developers who have made a profound contribution to the field of risk management.
Edward H. Kaplan, the William N. and Marie A. Beach Professor of Management Sciences and Professor of Public Health, was elected to the National Academy of Engineering for his work in the assessment of needle-exchange programs and for generally bringing engineering perspectives to the design of public health policies.
