The Yale School of Management launched a new scholarship in 2002 for African American, Hispanic American, and Native American students. Made possible through a generous gift from alumnus Thomas Matlack '91, the Megunticook Scholars Program selected MBA candidates who demonstrated a core intent to give back to their communities.
In an effort to offer continuing education and learning opportunities for alumni we decided to focus on the topic of leadership effectiveness. Our speaker for our spring alumni event, Dr. Robert Ginnett, spoke about the "Keys to Effective Leadership: 4 Behaviors of Great Team Leaders". Robert received his doctorate at Yale and taught at SOM.
