Claire Jahns '10 Appointed to California Natural Resources Agency

California Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced the following appointment:

Claire Jahns, 33, of San Francisco, has been appointed assistant secretary for natural resources climate issues at the California Natural Resources Agency. Jahns has been project director at the Nature Conservancy since 2010. She was a summer associate at Ecosystem Capital LLC in 2009 and a carbon finance intern at Pacific Forest Trust in 2008. Jahns was a business development associate at the Chicago Climate Exchange from 2003 to 2007. She earned a Master of Environmental Management degree from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Yale School of Management.
