Dick R. Wittink, the General George Rogers Clark Professor of Management and Marketing, has been chosen as the next editor of the Journal of Marketing Research (JMR). His three-year term begins July 1, 2003, replacing Wagner Kamakura.

Williams, Jr. Visiting Professor in Competitive Enterprise and Strategy and a Senior Partner at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, reports that his law firm was recognized as "the best firm in the Americas" according to Global Counsel magazine. As a leading international publication for senior in-house counsel of multi-national corporations and partners in major international law firms, Global Counsel explained that the success of Weil, Gotshal & Manges lies in its "national reputation for transactional, private equity and IP expertise."
