CDO Adds Individual Job Search Resources

Government Sector Discussion

On Tuesday, May 7th, from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in the Room A74 there will be a student led discussion with Professor Doug Rae and Dean Garten about combining government service into a career in other sectors, including the private and non-profit sectors. Professor Rae was Chief Administrative Officer of the City of New Haven in 1990-91, and Dean Garten was Undersecretary of Commerce for International Trade, 1993-1995.

CDO Exam Period Office Hours

May 2nd, 2002

During exam period, the CDO will be open 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., starting Wednesday, May 8th through Wednesday, May 15th. There will be no Saturday hours on May 11th. The CDO will resume extended hours for the Resource Room after the exam period.

SlimAudio wins $10,000, NextStep Wins $1,000 in Carrot Capital Competition!

Two groups of SOM entrepreneurs won awards in Carrot Capital's "Up to the Challenge" Business Plan Competition last Saturday in New York City. Both teams had business plans, created in Prof. David Cromwell's Entrepreneurship Class, that were selected for live presentations to judges. Carrot Capital Business Plan Challenge is a nationwide business plan competition geared towards helping student entrepreneurs get their businesses funded.
