Regional Chapters Chapter Regions The SOM Alumni Association now has active Chapters in ten cities around the U.S. as well as Chapters in Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai in China and London in the UK. You are automatically included as a member of a Regional Chapter if the Chapter is nearby your place of work. Chapter Activities Regional Chapters are the primary way SOM alumni meet up on a regular and frequent basis. Whether informal social gatherings such as a happy hour in a local bar or more programmtic events, your Regional Chapter is the best way to stay connected to the vibrant SOM community. Chapter Leader Toolkit The Chapter Leader Toolkit includes all the resources you will need as a Chapter leader, including best practices for events and activities, how to use the listserves, funding guidelines, expense reimbursement forms and more. Form a New Chapter If a Chapter hasn't yet been formed in your area, and there is a critical mass of alumni who are interested in forming a Chapter to plan activities, please get in touch with Jeanne Hayes, Director of Alumni Relations at Yale SOM at eugenia.hayes@yale.edu or phone: +1 (203) 432 1279. Join Additional Chapters In addition to the chapter(s) you are automatically a member of, you may join any number of existing Chapters. To join additional chapters make a selection from the list on the right. This will bring you to that specific Chapter page. If you're not already a member and you'd like to sign up, click the link. As a Chapter member you will be included in the email listserv for that Chapter and receive emails about recent and upcoming events. Whether you're living in the vicinity of a Chapter or not, if you'd like to stay informed about the SOM alumni community in that area you are welcome to sign up as a member. Get Actively Involved If you're interested in becoming more actively involved in planning Chapter activies such as joining a Chapter Steering Committee, please get in touch with the Chapter Moderator(s) listed on each Chapter page. Email Chapter Moderators with any questions you may have about their Chapter. As an SOM alumni you may email any Chapter or VIG listserve that you are a member of. Just go to each Chapter page and click on the link to contact the members.
